Let's Get Stimulated!

The Washington Post has a pretty slick graph (er...series of graphs) on the "Stimulus Package" passed by the House following the promised 48 hour public review.  And here's video of Rep. Boehner commenting on the fact that not even one of the House had read the huge, expensive, document.  (Try not to grind your teeth while you look at the graph.)

Big Bird meets Big Blue

PBS's new show "Sid the Science Kid" is produced by Jim Henson Productions and uses a new technology that uses computers to track actors that are dressed like idiots and translates those movements into CGI.  Pretty cool.  Pop-Sci has an article about it here.
